Merry Christmas From MCS

Merry Christmas From MCS

It’s been a heck of a year hereĀ at Modern Combat & Survival, so I wanted to take a minute to thank you all.

I know it hasn’t been that long since I did that at Thanksgiving, but I’m going over my Christmas list with my favorite tactical pen

…and thinking about the fact that, honestly, we couldn’t do any of this without you.

Merry Christmas From MCS

I hope you’re enjoying the day with family and friends.

(And, hey, if you want to write a thank-you letter to Aunt Emily for that awesome pair of footie pajamas, I have just the thing.)

From my family to yours, from MCS during the holidays and throughout the year, I wish you the best.

No matter what or how you celebrate, “May the best of your past be the worst of your future.”

You deserve it.

(Video) Knee-On Fight Options!

It just might be the opposite of the scenario you train most often.

You’ve gone to the ground with an opponent.

Maybe he knows grappling, maybe he doesn’t.

You do.

You fight for position.

Pretty soon, you’ve gained the upper hand. Now your knee is on him and you’re in a great position to…

…do what?

In this clip, Walt Lysak shows you some great fight-finishing options from the position in which your knee is on the other guy and you’re looking to end the altercation.
