Hello Johnie. What are the crops that can stand the summer heat down there? Up here in Northern AZ we rarely get over 90 during the summer but the nights are always cool to cold. Confuses the heck out of a lot of the plants my wife somehow manages to grow.
I am on the west coast of Florida in a small town called Palmetto. I love living here. In 47 years I have been through some close calls with hurricanes but I have never suffered damage. Only inconvenience. My strategy has always been to hunker down. I have seen many friends and family getting stuck trying to evacuate and having to end up in evacuation camps at the last minute. I rather board up the house and stock up on food, gas, and ammo.
