I used to do a lot of backpacking and still do a lot of camping for work and play so have a variety of portable stoves. They range from tiny homemade alcohol burning soda can stoves to a Coleman double burner stove. But my go to survival stove is a wood burning rocket stove since I have an endless supply of wood in the surrounding forest.
We heat our house with a wood burning stove so power outages are not an issue.
