Hey y'all!
Glad we at least got the Sanctum back up and running. Honestly, “forums” aren't my thing… and Volley hit the spot for me… but I do miss the interaction (and getting accountability on my Wednesday weigh-ins! hahahaha).
Anyhoo…. I'll try to jump in here regularly to see what's happening.
Also, I'm about to post an update on where we're going with “stuff” for the Academy.
Will hit that here in a bit. 🙂

Hey there TJ! Thanks SO much for checking on me and my family! I really appreciate that man! We've been monitoring the storm pretty much hourly since it started turning our way. A few days ago, it looked like Ian had it's crosshairs on the headboard of my bed! Like literally! 🙂 But as of yesterday, it started to turn further south and as of this morning, it looks like we're going to do just fine. That being said, I follow my own advice and my schmoops, Melissa, and I have been in California for the entire duration. Preps have been made to the house, but not as many as I'd have liked. I haven't been too worried about damage because it's all just “stuff” to me, and I'm more concerned about our family. And on THAT note… well… our family is learning a LOT from this experience! At least everyone will be safe now that the storm has passed, but we're all gonna have long talk when I get back this weekend. I'll be doing a podcast episode on “lessons learned” to provide some more insight. Thanks again TJ! It really means a lot man! 🙂

I have about 2 or 3 Alien Gear holsters that I don't use (one I got for free to review for our channel, but I didn't like it). They were the first ones I bought when I got my concealed carry license in TX but I've found others worked better for me. Currently, I use a prototype that I was developing for our own brand and like it the best. Still not ready for market yet though.

Thanks TJ! Yeah… I couldn't find a way to add in the text element of it so nice call to add it here. I love that you really put in the effort to hit the “range” in the cold weather. Now THAT'S a warrior! hahahha (I forget that not everyone lives in Florida sometimes, 🙂
Great work and thanks for taking the time brother!

For vehicle overland trips, I have a folding Kampmate rocketstove, but in my xbob, I always have a folding pocketstove. That's always been my go-to on remote camping trips.

Wow! Now THAT'S a living room battle I can't wait to see on the nanny-cam footage! 🙂

hahahahaha… gotta love it! (Or not?! 🙂

Ahhh… that sucks TJ! I'll break open a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup just for you amigo! 🙂

Yeah, that's my same assessment TJ. I hate wildcard scenarios though. So many variables – and countries – affecting this one. Will keep watching. 🙂

Hey there Arthur! I wanted to thank you again for the referral to EMPShield.com. I'm actually bringing one of their team members on for the next Warrior Workshop to help demystify EMP's and I've worked out a discount from them that I'll be putting inside of the Loot Locker as well. Looks like a great product and I'm ordering a couple for my family's vehicles. Surprisingly inexpensive for what they are. Anyhoo… just wanted to say “thanks” again! 🙂

Hi David! I just added some additional notes for the Mini-Mission… that task feature is meant for “media only” uploads such as images from a smart phone so I made that clearer above the mission. Sorry for the confusion.

Good insights TJ. Curious to see how your diagram looks for this month's Mini-Mission! 🙂

I've switched my main home defense weapon to an AR pistol since they came out but as far as shotguns go, Louis convinced me in our interview to switch from shot to slugs. While it's true that there's not much spread of buckshot in the distances of a home, that's all the more reason to switch to slugs in my opinion. Over penetration will be there with just about anything so worrying about one slug vs multiple pellets that can “bounce” at angles as they pass through walls, etc. seems a better option. But to each their own, eh? 🙂
