The “crash coaching” and “Warrior Workshops” sections on the left-hand menu usually list what's coming up and what's available now. We also keep members informed through our members digest, which comes out every Monday in the afternoon (so if you're not on our Warrior Life mailing list, you'll want to be — but if you're a member you are on that list, I would think).

I just picked up a couple of “kung fu rings.” These are big loops of rattan or metal that help you practice keeping your techniques tight. You put your arms through the big hoop and them work some of your techniques, keeping them aligned inside the circle.

I've always wanted something like that too. Unfortunately, here in New York, I think it's probably quite impossible.

    According to this article…

    https://havokjournal.com/national-security/emps-dont-work-like/

…People who rely on electronic devices to survive, like pacemakers, respirators, and life support systems, are very much vulnerable. The piece points out that EMP isn't necessarily a death sentence, but if you have a pacemaker in your chest, you might want to see if it's possible to make a Faraday cage out of your bedroom…

The good news is, you CAN shield an entire room as long as there are no breaks or penetrations for the radiation to come through.

Isn't that course a trip? It's one of my favorites.

We're almost ready to start predictions for 2023, ha ha.

I'm very concerned about both the inflation and the prospect of war. This newest idea to start sending gas money to people just creates more dollars to chase the same low supply, creating more inflation. Not good.

Now that the course is up, have any of you taken a look?

I have a couple of those Baofeng radios that are all the rage among some survivalists… although the FCC licensing requirements have always confused me.

The course should be up and live tomorrow — are you guys excited?

Some of you may not know that Jeff used to do quite a bit of stuff in fitness (there are some avatar photos of him from back in the day where his arms are HUGE). He's still one of the fittest people I know; he's always running and doing other things that, honestly, make me feel tired just listening (which is why he looks like he does and why I look like I do, I guess).

Sam, are you using the Tacti-Balls, or a different baoding ball set? I suffer from arthritis in one of my hands (“trigger finger,” specifically) and have been trying to remember to use the Tacti-Balls more to develop more flexibility.

I was re-watching some of the Marvel shows that came over from Netflix this past weekend, and one of the characters talked about how “brutal” Krav Maga is. I know that Krav Maga is kind of an umbrella term — anybody else here have experience with it?

Just a reminder, there's an EMF summit coming up this week:

Anyone else planning on going? (It's online.)

It will be very interesting to see what new weather phases the Spring brings us. I think we've finally had our last snows here, at least major ones — temperatures in the 40s and 50s in the coming week, with some even reaching above that.

That's like the Kydex equivalent of an Uncle Mikes, the kind of holster that's just a Nylon sock with a snap to retain it. Too many people rely on those types of holsters!
