Survival Gear: Tiny Survival Gadget BEATS Much Larger Versions

Survival Stove Gear Review

With everyone worrying about disruptions in the food supply chain – as well as other problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic – we've all been gearing up like crazy.

I've talked to people around the country who are focused on getting what they need to survive more than ever before.

(And no, the shortages aren't over – I was in the grocery store just yesterday and everybody was complaining that the paper towels were gone again.)

One thing that almost every survivalist and prepper has in common is that he or she has a bug-out bag… and that means needing a stove to cook your survival rations.

There's a good reason for that.

If you've ever been camping deep in the woods, or (especially) if you've ever been in the military, you already know how important a hot meal is.

Let me tell you… when you're stressed out, wet, tired, cold, and miserable, a hot meal can really soothe the soul and give you the mental break you need to push on.

But, here's the thing…

When it comes to a survival scenario – especially as the result of a nation-wide crisis like the pandemic, or even a grid-down blackout – you've heard me say that you need to look at your situation much like a “military mission”.

Your goal should be to lay low and stay hidden as much as possible so the “enemy” doesn't locate you and target your supplies.

Unfortunately, starting a fire is a dead giveaway of your location.

Some people pack a “backpacker's stove” that uses propane to heat up food and water.

As cool as these things are, they're pretty damn expensive (as much as $30-40) and when you consider the fuel canister you need to pack, it's pretty bulky and heavy.

As you know, I'm not a big fan of “bulky” or “heavy” when it comes to my survival gear.

That's why I pack a tiny “survival-stove” in my bugout bag instead.

Mine is an older version of the newest pocket stove from Survival Frog.

Survival Stove Gear Review
Survival Stove Gear Review

It's only about the size of your palm, but quickly folds open to allow you to set a pot on top of it, or cook your food directly over the long-burning “heat tabs” that fit inside.

And while it costs very little, it EASILY beats much more expensive, more elaborate “survival stoves.”

When it's time to eat, you simply pull the stove out of your side pouch… light the candle… and in no time, you'll have boiling water in your canteen cup.

Then all you need to do is drop in your survival food (like freeze-dried meals)… stir… and in just a few more minutes, you have a hot meal ready to give you a well-deserved break from your stress.

I can't tell you how much of a difference this can make in your peace of mind and decision-making.

You wouldn't think it does, but trust me… there's a big difference.

I've tried several different stoves over the years and I've always found “simple” to work the best (and it's also the cheapest option).

I highly recommend you pack one of these small “pocket stoves” into each bugout bag you have (yours and family members) as well as keeping one in each car with a meal packet just in case you break down in the middle of nowhere and need something to use for heat and cooking.

For a limited time, you can get a discount on these stoves from my favorite survival goods resource here…

Check it out and see how simple and efficient the latest version of this little gizmo is.

TACT Bivvy Survival Gear Review: 3 Ways This “Body Bag” Can Save Your Life!

TACT Bivvy Review

You may remember me raving about one of my absolute favorite survival gear items…

The TACT BIVVY has become an essential part of my emergency plan, whether it's a natural disaster or a national crisis, I wouldn't feel prepared without it.

I can't stress enough how amazing this thing is and I have several of them – one for each family member in our bug-out bags, as well as a few for use while camping with my son.

These things can be a real life-saver for you or a family member no matter what survival scenario you may face. In fact…

Here Are 3 Ways The TACT BIVVY Can Save Your Life In A Crisis…

TACT Bivvy Review

1. Signals For Rescue

The TACT BIVVY has 2 sides to it: An orange side for signaling for help and a reflective side (for keeping you warm when inside the bag).

If you're lost or injured in a remote area, both sides of the BIVVY can be used to signal to search aircraft.

But depending on the scenario, you may not want to be found…

2. Hides Your “Signature”

Sometimes you may NOT want to be found, right?

This may seem strange to you, but during times of crisis, you never know how you'll be targeted and by whom.

One of our readers, Kevin Dowd, had a great suggestion in how to stay hidden…

Kevin said…

“If you turn an emergency blanket with the silver side towards your body, and cover your face, you can defeat most ‘flir' <from aircraft> and thermal imaging devices <even some smartphones can find your heat signature>.”

The TACT BIVVY is perfect for staying covert when you don't want to be found because the reflective part of the bag is already on the “inside” and it's fully enclosed so it doesn't “leak” your heat out like a regular emergency blanket does.

Plus, the outside is NOT reflective (like most blankets) and won't give away your location by shimmering in the moonlight.

3. Lightens Your Load

In a forced-evacuation scenario, if you're ever forced to get to safety on foot, you want your bug-out bag to weigh as little as possible.

A sleeping bag is a complete waste of space and can add an additional 5-7 lbs that will only keep you from reaching your destination.

I personally have a TACT BIVVY that fits right inside of my bug-out bag's 8″ side tactical pouch, right next to the poncho I use as a shelter.

I use this every time when I go camping with my son and it keeps me warm all night long – even during colder weather.

Highly recommended!

Bugging Out: Is Your Bugout Survival Vehicle Missing These 4 Critical Items?

Jeff Anderson
Jeff Anderson, Editor

You've seen it in countless survival and disaster movies:

Volcanoes are erupting, great chasms are opening up in the Earth, and fire, brimstone, and plagues of frogs are raining down from the sky.

But don't worry; here comes the hero, Strongjaw McHandsomeface, riding to the rescue in his pimped out monster truck complete with roof rack, snorkel, and mounted fifty-caliber machineguns!

But do the movies REALLY tell you what you should be carrying in your bug-out vehicle?

Recently I spoke with expert Ryan Lee Price about the critical bug-out vehicle gear he recommends.

Here is a summary of what he told me.

Is Your Bugout Vehicle Missing These 4 Critical Survival Items?

Bugging Out: Bugout Vehicle Survival Gear
Ryan Lee Price

There isn't a prepper on the planet who hasn't fantasized about creating the ultimate bugout vehicle to see him through the zombie hordes and safely to his survival retreat.

But do you really know what you THINK you know about bugout vehicles and equipment?

People often overlook whether their bug out vehicle can physically reach its destination.

You have to be able to get there physically or there's no point in going.

If your vehicle can't handle the terrain physically, you're stuck and worse off.

If it breaks down, you're again stuck and worse off.

What this means is, you have to be able to take care of the vehicle itself.

This requires you to carry certain items to maintain the vehicle and get you out of trouble.

1. Air Pumps And Jacks

Your bug-out vehicle is only as good as its tires.

If you can't roll, you can't get where you're going.

Most of us don't have run-flat tires.

That means you've got to have the ability to maintain and replace your tires.

An air pump, like the kind that connects to your car's electrical system, can be invaluable, especially if you have a slow leak and you're miles from help.

Having a jack and a tire iron to replace your tire and put on the spare is also critical.

You would be amazed how many people are driving around without these.

2. Critical Fluids

If your car runs out of fuel, you won't be getting anywhere.

If it runs out of oil, it will seize up.

If it runs out of coolant for the radiator, it will overheat.

All of these are things you can be carrying with you just in case.

Keep in mind, though, that in the case of gas you can't just throw a gas can in the back seat.

It's best to keep fuel outside of the vehicle, such as on a tow rack on the back, to prevent fumes from accumulating inside the vehicle.

Having these critical fluids on hand could save you when the alternative is breaking down.

3. Jumper Cables and a Siphon Pump

If you aren't carrying a siphon pump or transfer pump, you should be.

These don't take up that much room.

They give you the ability to take fuel from broken down cars that might still have gas in them.

They also make it possible to transfer water quickly from one container to another.

(Obviously, you wouldn't use the same pump for both things in that order.)

Jumper cables are another item that lets you essentially “transfer electricity” from one vehicle to another.

And just like jacks and tire irons, you would be surprised how many people don't have jumper cables in case their batteries die.

4. Traction Mats And Tow Cables

Vehicles can get stuck even if there's nothing wrong with them.

Keeping a tow cable in your vehicle makes it possible for someone who isn't stuck to pull you free.

This may or may not work depending on how badly stuck the vehicle is.

In some cases, a traction mat might help.

These, too, don't take up a lot of space in the car.

Throwing down a traction mat can make it possible for the wheels to gain enough traction to get you out of a tough spot.

It works on the same principle as throwing down cat litter, or even a plank, when your tires are swamped in soft ground, snow, or mud.

The items listed here are all very important.

You should be carrying them if you aren't already.

They don't add up to much additional cargo, but they can really help prevent you from breaking down.

Keep that in mind.

Looter Defense In A Disaster: Home Defense Screw-ups Citizen Defenders Make

Jeff Anderson
Jeff Anderson, Editor

Your home is your castle.

Your refuge is the territory around that home.

Together this is the place where you’re going to dig in during an emergency (like the current pandemic).

This is the place where you choose to shelter-in-place, unless and until it becomes necessary to bug out because that location is no longer safe.

I mean let’s face it; that’s where your survival cache is anyway, right?

Your gear is there, your family is there… but what will you do if a major disaster throws your town into chaos and suddenly there is a real threat of attack from looters?

As we've all learned in recent months, you've got to protect your home from the sudden threat of violence.

So how will you do that?

Or, perhaps more importantly, what should you NOT do while accomplishing that?

I spoke with survival expert Pat Henry about protecting your home from looters, and here is a run-down of what he had to say.

The Biggest Mistakes People Make When Protecting Their Homes From Looters

Looter Defense In A Disaster Or Emergency
Pat Henry
Pat Henry

As we’ve seen time and time again during times of crisis, the wolves come out to prowl.

With collapse comes the threat of looting and violence that could threaten your family and your survival stash.

You yourself may not have given any thought to how to defend your home and your community when it suddenly becomes a war zone, but as we’ve recently seen during times of widespread civil unrest, rioting, and looting…

Any emergency that plunges your town into a state of social chaos could bring violence literally right to your door and onto your streets!

When the police are overwhelmed and 911 operators give up on even trying to answer the phone, it’s left to you, and hopefully a well-trained survival team, to defend your home.

But don't make THESE mistakes along the way!

Mistake #1: Thinking It's Going To Be Over Soon

One thing you've got to fight against in a collapse is the normalcy bias.

I think a lot of people out there, to their detriment, just don’t believe it’s going to get as bad as it is.

(You saw that after Hurricane Katrina, and we're seeing it now during COVID-19.)

People who had all kinds of advance warning of the disaster didn't take it seriously.

When the power was out and there was no food, they were stuck in their homes freaking out.

They thought it wasn't real, that it wasn't happening.

In a collapse, therefore, the sooner you realize it's not just going to be fine in a few hours, the better off you'll be.

Realize as soon as possible that you're going to have to take matters into your own hands.

That includes gearing up to protect your home from violent looters.

Mistake #2: Being Unprepared To Defend Their Lives

Once you’ve gotten past that, another mistake people make is not being prepared to deal with the ramifications of having to defend their lives.

Far too often, we rely on the police.

In a collapse, if there are looters coming down your street. you’re going to have to be prepared to defend your home — defend your life, possibly — from people who have shown that they don’t give a damn what the police are going to do.

As much as possible, think through the steps you are going to take, or that you could be faced with, when it comes to defending your home.

That will help put you in a better position to take action when the time does come.

Mistake #3: Not Being There

Finally, a lot of people make the mistake of simply not being there.

In a collapse, if you want to protect your home, you've got to be there.

(You can't expect your private army of security personnel to do it… because for most of us, they don't exist.)

If you've bugged out to a neighbor's house or you're at a bar watching all this happen on the television, you won't be there to defend your home.

Anything you do have, including your stockpiled supplies, your food, your water, your gear… it's all going to be up for grabs.

Not being home during a crisis, therefore, is a huge mistake.

These aren't the only mistakes you could make, but they are some pretty major ones.

When you come down to it, there are a lot of ways to protect your home from looters.

Be mindful of what NOT to do as we've detailed here and you'll be a long way towards successfully protecting your home and family.

SHTF / WROL Survival Evacuation Tips: The “Domino Effect” Proven In CA

Mary Lindsey through that she and her husband, Charles, were “prepared“…

Even though their home was far enough away from the raging wildfires scorching the northern California woods, they were no strangers to these threats and had taken all the necessary precautions “just in case“.

The power company had given them warning that their power was being shut down as a precaution, so they had flashlights at-the-ready and there would be more than enough time to “get out of Dodge” if the fires even hinted that they were headed their way.

Mary and Charles went to sleep around 11:00pm with the feint glow of the fires far off in the distance and all seemed quiet.

But all that changed at 2:30am when Mary and her family – in fact their entire neighborhood and the police – learned the critical life-or-death lesson of…

The Deadly Disaster “Domino Effect”

Survival Tips – California Wildfires – SHTF – WROL

It really wasn't their fault…

Like everyone else in their neighborhood, Mary and Charles followed the direction of their local officials and, while there was no immediate danger to them and their home, they were ready to leave in an instant if an evacuation order was given.

In fact, they had prepared well in advance with the county's reverse-911 alert system… were on the emergency email subscriber list… and had neighbors who looked out for each other with a phone notification system.

There was just one thing missing…

… POWER!

You see, the fire DID make a turn for the worse that evening – and officials DID issue a “Mandatory Evacuation Order” for all residents to IMMEDIATELY evacuate the area before they were trapped by the blaze.

But since the electricity had been turned off… the ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD was clueless as they lay sleeping in their beds when the order was given.

No phone service to wake them up…
No emergency call over the television or radio…
No sirens going off…

“Clueless”!

It wasn't until Mary – maybe woken by the sound of the helicopters overhead – scuffled to the window with her flashlight and saw that her entire street was engulfed in thick smoke, that she knew something was wrong.

It even surprised a local police officer cruising by who, while making a final pass through what he “thought” was a vacated neighborhood, looked up and saw Mary's flashlight in the window and asked her why she hadn't left yet.

What he hadn't realized is that NO ONE in her area even knew of the order being given, due to the failure of their electric-dependent alert system.

And they weren't the only ones…

In another area, Janice Bell – a single woman with multiple sclerosis – was trying to evacuate her home in the pre-dawn darkness, only to find that her car was trapped inside her garage because the electric door opener didn't have power.

For 2 hours, she tried getting help until she was finally able to flag down a neighbor who helped her open her garage door so she could flee the area before the flames engulfed her – trapped with no way to leave.

These Are The “Dominos” That Literally
KILL Families In Their Sleep…

California Wildfires

Look, any ONE of the threats in a disaster have the potential to take lives, right?

Loss of power… empty gas pumps… jammed highways… overrun hospitals… ALL are “survival factors” you MUST be prepared for – and the COVID-19 pandemic has shown us that over and over again in the last two months.

When you lose multiple conveniences at the same time, they knock each other down like dominoes – each one causing the next one, or making it worse than it would be by itself.

Threats like these can happen to you and your family, too – because if it's not a wildfire, it could be a hurricane.

If it's not a hurricane, it could be a massive blackout.

If not's a blackout, it could be a flood, riots and protests “gone wild”, or even an earthquake.

I know, because it happened to ME

It was only a few years ago that I went through a very similar ordeal as the stories I've told when a massive “wall of water” dragged 75 homes into the river that runs through my tiny Texas town in the wee morning hours around 2:00am.

Many of my friends barely escaped with their lives.

Worse, a dozen of my fellow townsfolk died in that horrific disaster.

They didn't need to.

I learned some VERY valuable lessons from that fateful night and – with my background in preparedness (mixed with lessons I'd learned in the military) – I've made it my personal mission to make sure that NO FAMILY ever suffer the same fate as my friends or those families that drowned as the waters dragged them into the ambush of water that drove through our town.

I'm hoping I can share those lessons with you because I PROMISE YOU that any ONE of the lessons could literally be the difference between life or death for you and those you love.

Some of those lessons are contained in my survival gear secrets report, which I hope you'll download so you can start preparing.

For your sake. For your family's sake. I really hope you will.

Sheltering In Place (Quarantine/Lockdown): 3 Tips For Fortifying Your Property!

Jeff Anderson

When city planners are constructing communities, the last thing they’re thinking of is its defense against enemy combatants.

In fact, if anything, the way that normal neighborhoods are set up, most homes would make you a sitting duck if a battle broke out on your block.

As with any castle, the better fortified your fortress is as you’re staring at the marauders outside the gates, the better your chance of survival.

So how would you go about fortifying your home – especially with all of us worrying about looters and home invaders during the COVID-19 quarantines and lockdowns?

A while back I spoke with my survival expert Pat Henry about the idea of fortifying a home, and here is a summary of what he had to say to me about it.

3 Tips For Fortifying Your Property!

Survive In Place: 3 Tips For Fortifying Your home
Pat Henry
Pat Henry

You yourself may not have given any thought to how to defend your home and your community when it suddenly becomes a war zone, but as we’ve recently seen during times of widespread civil unrest, rioting and looting, any emergency that plunges your town into a state of social chaos could bring violence literally right to your door and onto your streets.

When the police are overwhelmed and 911 operators give up on even trying to answer the phone, it’s left to you, and hopefully a well-trained survival team, to defend your home.

Let's say you're lucky enough to be on a dead-end street.

You could use cars to stop people from coming down your street.

But you're not going to be able to close off the entire perimeter of your front yard.

There's just too much space there.

Most of us don't live on dead ends, either.

But no matter how open your property is, there are choke points you can take advantage of.

That brings us to our first tip…

1. Creating And Exploiting Choke Points

Look for choke points that can minimize the space and reduce someone's ability to get through.

You can also make those choke points.

  • You can drop a tree, for example.
  • Take advantage of fences in the area, too.
  • Anything that you can dump dirt, sand, or gavel into, like a trashcan, can form a barrier that makes it harder for an enemy to get through and may provide cover.

In a serious crisis, you could use appliances, like washing machines, freezers, and so on, filled with dirt.

That kind of mass will stop a vehicle.

It won't stop a tank, but it will stop most passenger cards on the road… and it will slow down just about anyone.

2. Mind Your Windows And Doors

Your home is, obviously, your last line of defense.

We see it in zombie movies and things like that, with arms coming through the windows.

You've got to plan ahead of time to seal off your windows and doors from a serious invasion.

Sure, someone could take a sledgehammer and start beating in the walls, but if they’re doing that, you’re not going to stop them anyway.

You can purchase a film from 3M that you can apply to your windows to turn them, effectively, into a sheet of plastic like safety glass.

They'll take much more abuse before they give in, although they're not bulletproof.

  • Plywood can also be fit over your windows, although it cuts your visibility and makes your fortifications more obvious.
  • Boards with nails run through them can be put under your windows to provide a deterrent.
  • The doors themselves can be reinforced, or you could replace the entire door with a steel unit.

All of these tactics are intended to buy you time.

They're to give you more room to sneak around and get out to escape.

3. Sandbags

One thing that you could lay in a supply off, as long as you've got a yard to fill them from, is sandbags.

People usually have these on hand for flooding, but they can be used to make a great barricade if you have time to fill them.

It's time-consuming to build a wall of sandbags, but creating a mound you can duck behind for cover is another otion.

You don't even need to have a ton of dirt available.

Obviously, you'd be filling these with dirt, not sand, in most cases.

These work because a dirt mound is a great way to absorb the energy of bullets.

If you have enough dirt, you can make some fairly serious earthworks defenses.

Even just a little can help provide needed cover.

So what are YOU doing to prepare your home for an invasion like this?

The time to start fortifying is NOW, more than ever before.

Bugout Tip (From Gov’t) For WROL And SHTF Disasters: ARM YOURSELF!

Bugout Tip (From Gov't) For WROL And SHTF Disasters: ARM YOURSELF!

“You can't eat bullets.”

“All those guns won't save you from a fire or an earthquake.”

“Why are you so paranoid?”

These are all things some people like to say to armed citizens when it comes to survival in a natural disaster or other emergency (like the current COVID-19 pandemic).

Now, look, I get the point these folks are trying to make.

No, weapons should not be your ONLY priority in an emergency.

But you also don't DARE ignore them, because now…

Even The Government Says To Arm Yourself In A Disaster!

Bugout Tip (From Gov't) For WROL And SHTF Disasters: ARM YOURSELF!
Bugout Tip (From Gov't) For WROL And SHTF Disasters: ARM YOURSELF!

Your government isn't exactly known for being on the “cutting edge” of preparing for a disaster:

They left a fleet of buses to be buried in flood water in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina.

They left thousands of bottles of water to sit, unused, during disaster recovery efforts in Puerto Rico

And they complained that it simply didn't have the resources to help people (seriously – FEMA. bureaucrats said this after Hurricane Maria)!

But now, the same people who famously confiscated guns from law-abiding citizens after Hurricane Katrina have changed their tune.

Specifically, more and more state governments are recognizing the REAL danger in a natural disaster.

What is that danger?

It's other people.

Lawmakers in Texas, last year, approved a new bill that lets legal gun owners carry handguns in public for up to a week after a natural disaster.

It passed in a very close vote, and the lawmakers argued about it a LOT before passing it.

An article in the The New Republic said…

According to a summary, bill supporters don't want to be “forced to leave handguns behind in vehicles or homes, where they could be at risk from looters.” [emphasis added]

The bill is a step in the right direction, but what it DOESN'T include is just as important:

The bill doesn't require relief shelters to let in people who are armed.

In other words, if you're an armed citizen and you intend to stay armed in a natural disaster…

…You're on your own!

What Laws Like This Mean For Your Survival

If more and more states – the same people who haven't exactly been quick to look out for you in the past – are recognizing the danger of natural disasters…

…you're already behind the curve if you aren't getting ready for this.

(Especially given all the attacks on gun sales and your gun rights that have happened since the pandemic started.)

Whether it's a home-leveling hurricane, a raging forest fire, an earthquake, a flood… it ISN'T the disaster itself that your government is now worrying about.

It's what comes AFTER the disaster, when innocent victims are preyed on by looters and other “human threats.”

Understanding the danger of looters and an increase in crime (which is exactly what happened after Hurricane Katrina turned New Orleans into a crime-ridden war zone) is the ONLY reason your state government would urge you to arm yourself in an emergency.

The problem has gotten so bad that state governments are flip-flopping from taking guns…

…to telling you you'd better make sure to have one, because “ain't nobody gonna help ya!”

I talk about this in-depth in in my best-selling bug out bag manual.

The time to prepare ISN'T when danger is forcing you out your front door…

…or when it's desperately trying to break in to get at your and your family.

Start arming… and preparing… now, while you can.

It could save your life.

FEMA Camps: 5 Scary Facts You Must Know To Survive A Disaster

FEMA Camp Facts

Never underestimate the government's ability to screw things up, right?

I mean, we already know FEMA botched Hurricane Katrina.

But what you may not know is why

What made them so incompetent in that situation – and do you have any reason to think they'll be any better at handling a disaster that strikes near you?

Here are 5 things you absolutely NEED to know about what FEMA does in disasters – and, more importantly, what it doesn't do…

5 Scary Facts You MUST Know About FEMA Camps!

FEMA Camp Facts

1. FEMA's Funds Aren't Just For “Disasters” Anymore

FEMA used to be strictly for natural disaster relief and management – but like so much else, that all changed on September 11th.

FEMA now focuses primarily on terrorism, alongside Homeland Security.

Why? No one knows.

No one can explain why funds that should have been available for people in real danger during Hurricane Katrina were diverted to “fighting” terrorism.

FEMA has less money than ever before, because the government is covering how much it's spending on Homeland Security by taking money from an agency that has nothing to do with terrorism.

Which means that agency doesn't have the money to do its actual job.

2. FEMA Cuts Corners and Causes More Harm Than It Relieves

During Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, FEMA put up trailers for people who had been displaced from their homes.

Sounds like a good thing, right?

That's what you want your natural disaster relief organization to do.

Except the trailers had exceptionally high formaldehyde levels.

The Sierra Club warned FEMA about the problem, but they were ignored and FEMA continued to place displaced citizens in the trailers – which inflicted those people, who had already lost everything, with breathing trouble, constant headaches, and nosebleeds.

3. FEMA Won't Help You Get Out of Harm's Way

You probably heard on the news that a lot of people didn't want to leave New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, even after they were told to evacuate.

That might have seemed downright stupid to you – why wouldn't you get out if your life was in danger?

The answer?

A lot of them COULDN'T get out.

FEMA didn't provide transportation or funds for those who didn't have their own vehicles to evacuate in.

The vast majority of people stayed not because of stubbornness or stupidity, but because FEMA gave them no way out.

4. FEMA Doesn't Have the People It Needs Ready to Go

Ever been on a volunteer fire department or rescue team?

You get trained and you show up regularly to stay trained, so that whenever your services are needed, you know exactly what to do and how to help.

It's how the National Guard works.

It's how a lot of very effective forces that aren't needed all the time work.

But it's not how FEMA works.

FEMA doesn't have people on standby.

They have to orchestrate a massive number of services, from search and rescue to waste disposal to food distribution to transport – and more – and the people they're working with HAVE NOT BEEN TRAINED BEFOREHAND.

They're mostly cobbled together from local agencies, each of which knows how to do one small piece of the required disaster relief plan – and none of which know how to do it in concert with a large number of other organizations.

Any way you look at it, it's a logistics nightmare waiting to happen.

5. Even FEMA's Survival Kit Advice Is DEADLY

If you go to FEMA's website, they'll tell you what you should have in your survival kit in case of disaster.

It's ridiculously inadequate.

It will not help you survive a real disaster and in fact, it may even get you killed by giving you a sense of false confidence.

For example, they don't even mention having a means of evacuating your family or your supplies.

The items they do tell you to have are sufficient for a disaster that lasts a day or two at most – not a full-scale catastrophe like Katrina.

Look, I can't solve all the problems with FEMA.

But I CAN solve the problem of making sure you have your family's survival kit ready to go when they need you most.

Every survivalist needs to know what to pack – and surprise… not a one of them is on FEMA's worthless list of things to get.

Especially in today's trying times, you need this information now more than ever.

Supply Chain Collapse: How COVID-19 (And Other Pandemics) Threaten Us All

Doomsday Prepper Survival Training For Bugging Out

I saw a news article today about how people are raging because their Amazon orders for luxury goods and tech gadgets aren't arriving fast enough.

See, the retail giant has prioritized household staples and medical supplies because they're absolutely overwhelmed with orders… and that means delaying shipments of things they don't consider as critical.

Not only has the supply chain disruption caused by COVID-19 been a giant wake-up call to just how fragile our society is…

… but it should also be giving you a whole different appreciation of “truckers”!

You see, “collapse” isn't something that typically happens in one giant THUD that wipes everything out in an instant like a meteor crashing out of the sky, sending us all the way of the dinosaurs.

It's a chain-reaction that can be caused by any triggering event like the 5 no-b.s. collapse threats I talk about in my free guide, “Survival Gear Secrets”.

(If you want me to send you a free copy of my book, just click here and I'll send it to you…)

When any of these very real events (like the COVID-19 global pandemic) are triggered, they cause a domino effect that has a very predictable outcome.

In fact, a report developed for “National Truck Driver Appreciation Week” a couple of years ago was a real shocker, and forces us to ask the question…

“Are We Just One Truck Driver Away From A Doomsday Scenario?”

Doomsday Prepper Survival Training For Bugging Out

Ok, first, you need a “trigger event”, right?

Let's say it's a pandemic disease outbreak – the kind that the Center For Disease Control (CDC) was telling us we were long overdue for prior to the current COVID-19 disaster.

Diseases can spread very quickly across the country through long-distance transportation such as by people using airplanes, trains…

… and even long-distance truck-drivers delivering goods!

Since truckers often stop in the same locations as other truckers for rest, food, re-fueling, and resupply, all it would take is just a few truck-drivers exposed to a medicine-resistant strain of flu or other virus (you know…), to rapidly spread the disease throughout the entire trucking industry.

Now here's where things get really scary…

You see, most people don't realize just how dependent we are on our nation's truck drivers (although they're starting to “get it” now).

Our entire trucking system is part of our nation's critical underlying infrastructure that supplies every single household and business with all the things we take for granted, such as food, water, medicines, fuel, repair parts, etc.

And according to that report I mentioned, here's what you can expect to see happen without this indispensable lifeline…

Within 24 Hours Of “No Trucking”:

  • Delivery of all medical supplies to affected areas ceases
  • Hospitals will run out of basic supplies
  • Service stations will run out of fuel, skyrocketing prices and creating long lines at the gas pumps
  • Food shortages begin to develop

Within 2-3 Days:

  • Consumer panic over food shortages escalates
  • Supplies of bottled water, powdered milk, and canned meat will disappear
  • ATM’s will run out of cash and banks will close
  • Garbage will pile up in urban and suburban areas
  • Ships and trains will be disrupted from delivery

Within 1 Week:

  • All automobile traffic will cease due to lack of fuel
  • Hospitals will begin to exhaust oxygen supplies

Within 2 Weeks:

  • Clean water supply will begin to run dry (or become contaminated due to non-functional infrastructure)

Within 4 Weeks:

  • The nation’s clean water supply will be completely exhausted.

This is why I'm always saying that “It only takes 3 days to go from calm… to CHAOS!”?

And this is only from a “bad flu” hitting truck drivers – much less COVID-19.

Now, keep in mind… this is all “worst case scenario.”

It isn't that bad yet – and if we're lucky, it's not going to be.

But as hard as it is to hear, this is information we all NEED to know.

There are plenty of other “triggering events” I talk about in my free “Survival Gear Secrets” book I'll send to you (plus, I tell the warning signs to look out for so you have your own “collapse radar” that gives you prior notice before anyone else even knows what's about to hit).

This is why we prep, right folks?

This is why YOU need to be the most prepared person on your block in order to protect yourself and those you love from the dangers that your neighbors don't even realize are out there.

You do.

We're all going to get through this COVID-19 outbreak, but it's going to be hard on us.

Learn from these warning signs so that you can spot this type of thing coming in the future.

Make no mistake: It could happen again, and we would be fools not to learn from the current outbreak.

Fool me once,” as they say… right?

Be safe out there.

We'll continue to bring you important information to keep your family safe during this troubling time.

Coronavirus Masks: Surgeon General Says STOP Buying These For COVID-19?

Corona Virus Masks - Flu Masks - Pandemic Preparations

Jeff Anderson
Jeff Anderson, Editor

The panic about “coronavirus,” or COVID-19, is starting to reach a fever pitch.

We've had our first death(s) here in the United States – starting with someone who didn't get it from traveling to China.

And just after that report, the official number of infections in the United States JUMPED – because we started counting a bunch of Americans who caught it on a cruise ship.

And the stock market?

Fear of the virus caused us to break a record for a single-day drop, with even more fall-off the next day.

It's gotten so bad that even the Surgeon General of the United States is urging frightened people to STOP buying masks to prevent themselves from catching the virus.

Now, here is something important:

People who knew what to look for had an early warning about this pandemic scare.

So let me explain – because the reason why isn't what you might think… and it points to what you should be doing to protect your family.

What You Can Do About A Coronavirus Pandemic While Everybody PANICS…

Corona Virus Masks - Flu Masks - Pandemic Preparations

You might not consider it an early warning sign of pandemic, but a little over a week ago, one of my employees told me he couldn't find dust masks.

He does a lot of projects involving grinding and sanding, and a couple weeks ago he went to the hardware store to buy some.

They were completely sold out!

But he didn't get really worried – or bring it up to me – until he tried to buy some online, only to discover the few sellers who had any left had jacked up their prices!

The shortage is all because people are buying up masks, looking for something, anything, that can protect them when they're out in public!

And THAT is why the surgeon general is telling the public to stop buying them.

People are buying up so many masks that now, there aren't any masks left to price-gouge.

They're just gone – meaning medical professionals and first responders can't get their hands on them!

Here's a picture that same employee of mine took just this past weekend:

Empty Hardware Store Shelf
Empty Hardware Store Shelf

That's the dust mask section of a national chain hardware store, where you can buy simple masks for painting and sanding.

Unlike fine-particle filter masks, those simple hardware store dust masks can't do ANYTHING to prevent you from getting coronavirus.

That means that now, contractors – and you and I – can't get dust masks for simple projects around the house…

…all because people are panicking.

Now… think about all of the products you take for granted on a daily basis.

Not just dust masks, but basic household goods.

In Hawaii, a state that depends on imports – on a supply chain for consumer goods – panicking citizens are buying out the toilet paper and bottled water for the same reason they've been buying hardware store dust masks.

And it's only a matter of time before that panic affects YOUR local store – and hits more than just painter's masks.

This is, in other words, the first step in the chain reaction – all of it caused by PEOPLE, not the pandemic itself.

A short-term (or even long-term) “collapse” doesn't usually happen in one giant THUD that wipes everything out in an instant.

Instead, it goes down as a chain-reaction that can be caused by any triggering event.

(I talk about how to prepare for those triggering events in my life-saving survival “manual” .)

When any of these very real events are triggered, they will cause a domino effect that will have a very predictable outcome.

All you need is for something like a pandemic scare to trigger the reaction:

First, people get worried about getting sick, so they buy out the stores of hand sanitizer and dust masks.

Then, they get worried about household goods, so they start buying toilet paper and bottled water.

Then the stock market crashes, like we've ALREADY seen, and people make a run on the banks to take out their money.

Then, stores start closing, either because there's no merchandise to sell, or because the government told them they have to close during the panic (like has already happened in China).

And without the flow of cheap goods from China to our trucking fleets and then to our store shelves, well, things start to spiral out of control… FAST.

You see, most people don't realize just how dependent we are on our nation's truck drivers – and on the supply chain they distribute from manufacturers in China.

That system is critical to our economic infrastructure, and it supplies every single household and business with all the things we take for granted, such as food, water, medicines, fuel, repair parts, etc.

But if those truck drivers have nothing to deliver – or they start getting sick, and spreading sickness themselves – the whole system breaks down!

Once things start to collapse, it will take only days for our country to turn into a nightmare… and it all started with sold-out pollution masks.

So… now you know what a collapse, prompted by a pandemic panic, can look like.

But that knowledge is no good without “action”, right?

Take advantage of my life-saving survival “manual” and let me show you the prepping shortcuts I've learned (the hard way) over the years, and prepare NOW, before it's too late.

I promise this information could save your life (and the lives of those you love).

Don't wait until the coronavirus panic leaves you without the supplies you need… and with you local grocery store shelves empty.

Get prepared now while there's time.
